Possibly the "best value" in the entire Santa Cruz line....the D-Pre War is even better than the orignial "Pre War" traditional guitars....solid sitka top, solid east Indian rosewood sides and back, forward shifted scalloped top braces, and legendary Santa Cruz craftsmanship, bring it all together with unbelivable tonal qualities and playability.

This is a "one of a kind" Tony Rice, we did a couple of things differently on this one. We had Richard build this one with an Adirondak spruce top, and move the Santa Cruz logo, "scgc" to the headstock, with 2mm dot position markers on the fretboard....makes a very good looking guitar, and possibly the best souinding bluegrass guitar we have ever had in the store!

Acoustic Dynamite! Sweet, thick, timbre, tons of headroom. This is a recreation of the slope shouldered dreadnoughts of the 1940's, taken to the ultimate level of craftsmanship! This particular guitar is beyond description as to the incredible sound it produces....there is absolutly only one guitar like this!!

We liked the standard Vintage Artist's so well, that we decided to do one in Indian Rosewood.......WOW!!.......Richard and his gang really know how to do it....we also customized it with beautiful abalone rosette........this is another one that you just have to play to believe!

The Pre-War Orchestra Model is the most powerful OM we have ever played! The first thing you notice is how light weight it is. Then the unbelievable sound! A price unmatched for an acoustic guitar of this caliber.
